Tore Borthen

Tore Borthen, Chair of Board

Tore Borthen is an experienced investor and entrepreneur with over 40 years in finance, real estate, and renewable energy. Since 2004, he has led property investments and developments across major European markets, with the past decade focused on impact-driven real estate that promotes better living. He previously managed NOK 50 billion in institutional portfolios at DNB and Nordea, and has founded multiple companies in investment management and clean energy. As an active angel investor, Tore backs early-stage ventures in PropTech, HealthTech, and renewables. He holds an MBA from Wharton and an MSc from NHH.

Jørn Lien-Mathisen

Jørn Lein-Mathisen, CEO and Board Member

Jørn Lein-Mathisen has the last five years focused on real estate development, building on a diverse background that bridges politics, technology, and entrepreneurship. For more than 13 years, he has been an active tech business angel, investing in and advising early-stage startups across various sectors. Earlier in his career, Jørn served as a parliamentary adviser to then-Minister of Housing Erna Solberg, gaining valuable insights into housing policy and national governance. His unique blend of political experience and entrepreneurial drive positions him as a dynamic contributor to the intersection of real estate and technology.

Samira Rahmani

Samira Rahmani, Controller

Samira Rahmani is an experienced accountant with one and a half years of experience in accounting and finance in Norway, where she has managed end-to-end accounting for both production and service companies, including full accounting for 20 companies. She also brings over five years of international experience in similar roles. Known for being structured, responsible, sociable, and adaptable, Samira thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys tackling complex tasks and new challenges. Her expertise includes full-cycle accounting, process improvement, and close collaboration with auditors.

Michael Mckenna

Michael Mckenna, Analyst

Michael McKenna brings a multidisciplinary background in economics, computational analysis, and AI ethics, shaped by his career in academia, green infrastructure and technology policy. Recognized with the Don Lavoie Fellowship for his work on economics and monetary policy, Michael combines global perspective with analytical rigor. He has led market research on sustainable housing trends across Scandinavia, authored investment briefs for over €20M in green infrastructure projects, and developed financial models integrating ESG metrics into project feasibility studies. His expertise in sustainable innovation and technology strategy aligns with the firm’s mission to create forward-thinking real estate developments, and ventures in emerging technology.

Haley Solomon

Haley Solomon, Architect

Haley Solomon is an architect and designer with over a decade of experience spanning small-scale interior renovations to large-scale commercial and educational projects, guiding work from concept through construction. With an MSc in Advanced Sustainable Design from the University of Edinburgh, she brings a deep commitment to environmentally responsible and climate-resilient architecture. Her academic focus included sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and equitable urban planning, culminating in a dissertation exploring the role of insurance in resilient design within the wildland-urban interface of the American West. Haley has also contributed to global climate initiatives through her internship with the Cities, States & Regions team at CDP. Now based in Norway, she is eager to continue growing within the sustainable design field and to contribute her diverse expertise to creating resilient, future-ready environments.
